SUMMARY:19th Annual Key West Half Marathon and 5k
DESCRIPTION:Join in on the fun with the 19th Annual Key West Half Marathon and 5k taking place at the Waterfront Brewery at the Historic Seaport. There will be a race party and concert outside the Half Shell Raw Bar on January 15. There will be an estimated 4000- 4500 participants so it is encouraged for all interested participants to register now to avoid missing the chance to be apart of this race! \n“The race has grown tremendously since it began\, and it draws people from all over. Only the first 4\,000 participants are guaranteed a fully-sublimated custom designed race shirt\, so don’t wait — sign up now!” said Barbara Wright\, event founder and organizer. \nThis years events include an expanded two-day expo. presented by Altra Footwear and Honey Stinger inside The Waterfront Brewery on Friday\, January 13 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday\, January 14 from noon-6 p.m. A pre-race pasta special will be offered all day on Saturday from Half Shell Raw Bar starting at 11 a.m. Both of these days feature great entertainment upstairs at The Waterfront Brewery during registration. The chance to experience a 9 a.m. training run with past Olympic runner Keith Brantly\, acclaimed as one of the most successful long-distance runners in American history\, will also be featured as part of  Saturday’s schedule. \nUnique and collectible wine topper medals will go to all Half Marathon finishers and dog tag medals to all 5K finishers. \nFor a full schedule and registration information\,  visit the Key West Half Marathon website!
