SUMMARY:2017 Schooner Wharf Wreckers Cup Race Series
DESCRIPTION:Ladies and Gentlemen:  Start Your Sails!\n\n\nThe Schooner Wharf Bar Wrecker’s Cup Race Series is an all-in-fun race series that recalls the tradition of the wreckers in the Key West of the 1800’s.  Last month’s regatta included 16′ Hobie Cats\, sloops of varying sizes\, recreational yachts\, live aboard vessels and seven magestic schooners graced the Key West Harbor!\n\n\nVessels compete in different classes; Classic\, Schooner\, Multihull\, Monohull over 40 feet\, Monohull 30 – 39 feet\, Monohull under 29′.  1st\, 2nd & 3rd place will be awarded in each division\, with trophies\, Pusser’s Rum ceramic flask\, Schooner Wharf Bar Tabs & Wrecker tee shirts as prizes.\n\n\nVisiting yachters are invited to join our local “wrecker’s fleet.”  Come meet fellow sailors\, enjoy a fun day on the water and celebrate the “victor’s spoils” at Schooner Wharf Bar.\n\n\nCaptains meeting is held Saturday\, March 25th at 7:00 p.m. on the Schooner Wharf’s Sail Loft with complimentary Pusser’s Rum Punch and hors d’oeuvres from the Schooner Wharf Galley.\n\n\nAll participating vessels will be eligible for up to 4 BBQ dinners for captain & crew at the Awards Ceremony.  The race is video taped\, see yourself under sail on big screen at the Awards Party! Entry fee for each vessel is $30.00

SUMMARY:36th Annual 7-Mile Bridge Run
DESCRIPTION:The 7-Mile Bridge Run is out together by the Marathon Runners Club and is the only known run that is completely surrounded by water from start to finish. DESCRIPTION:“A day of beers\, bartenders\, margaritas and mayhem helps to dramatically improve the lives of local residents and local causes – only in Key West. \nTeams of seven race against the clock and each other in a hilarious obstacle course that fills the street in front of Schooner Wharf Bar and lines the pockets of two local charities. In the race\, team members must mix a perfect margarita\, serve it without spilling\, tap a keg\, sort recyclables\, and chug a beer. \nAll participants will receive a free Battle of the Bars T-Shirt (compliments of Eagle Brands/Michelob Ultra).  Sign up before July 27th and your team’s name will be printed on the T-shirt. \nTrophies and bragging rights will be awarded to 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place.
