DESCRIPTION:Let freedom ring\, and let the drinks be cold!!! \nBe a Conch Republic patriot and join the annual Independence March to the Sea at Schooner Wharf Bar on Thursday\, April 21st. \nWhen the parade ends\, the party starts at Schooner Wharf Bar. \nCostume and float prizes will be given at the Awards Ceremony for “Best Conch-cept”\, “Most Original” and the “Most Creative” parade participants. \nPrizes include Schooner Wharf Bar Gift Certificates\, gifts from Cruzan Rum\, Water Adventures courtesy of Sebago Watersports\, Spirit of Independence\, Schooner America 2.0 and Sunset Watersports! \nShow your allegiance to the Conch Republic flag\, make your patriotic party plans and start strutting. Everyone is welcome to don a pirate costume and join the Schooner Wharf float in the parade – meet us at the corner of South Street and Duval – parade starts at 7:00 p.m. \nFollow the Parade in Mardi Gras Style to the Schooner Wharf Bar where Paraders will be slaking their thirst and boogieing the night away. DESCRIPTION:Shiver me timbers… \nSchooner Wharf Bar will surrender the booty – for the best pirate costume at its annual Pirates Ball and Pirate’s Costume Competition on Saturday\, April 23rd at 7 p.m. \nThe Yo Ho Ho-ing begins with the Pirates’ Costume Contest\, with prizes for Best Wench\, Best Buccaneer\, Best Bustier\, and Cutthroat Surprise. Of course\, bottles of rum are up for grabs! \nSea shanties\, sword play and swashbuckling will be provided by Key West’s own band of pirates\, The Conch Republic Privateers. The troupe in full pirate garb will provide engaging antics and entertainment while you enjoy the Pirates’ Costume competition. \n
