Their live shows are ever-changing and wide-ranging in the styles audiences crave — From Reggae to Motown to rock to funk and beyond! Definitely bring your dancing shoes! Listen to how it all happened! Conch Republic Prime Minister Dennis Wardlow will be on stage recounting the story of the events that led to our secession\, as can only be told by the mayor who spearheaded our secession in 1982! We seceded from the United States\, surrendered and demanded foreign aid (we are still\nwaiting on that!) Long Live the Conch Republic! \n  \nSchooner Wharf Captains’ Meeting for the Great Sea Battle – April 21st at 9 p.m.  \nAttendance is mandatory for all Salts and Sea Dogs joining the Conch Republic Forces against the U.S. Border Patrol for the Great Battle. On Schooner Wharf’s Upper Deck. \n  \nSchooner Wharf Conch Republic Independence Celebration Parade Party & Awards Ceremony – April 23rd at 9 p.m.  \nFollow the parade Mardi Gras style for the Awards Ceremony! \n  \nSchooner Wharf Conch Republic Independence Celebration Victory Party and Surrender Ceremony of the Great Sea Battle – April 24th at 9 p.m.  \n“Conch-republicans” celebrate defeating the evil forces of the US Government. \n  \nSchooner Wharf Pirates Ball and Costume Competition April 25th at 7 p.m. \nFestivities start at 7 pm with swordplay\, swashbuckling\, sea chanties and a welcome announcement by Key West’s own band of pyrates\, Conch Republic Privateers. There will be a Costume Contest\, with 1st\, 2nd and 3rd prizes for Best Wench and Best Buccaneer. There will also be a prize awarded for Best Bustier and Cutthroat Surprise. The Conch Republic Privateers will walk around in the crowd and sign up contestants around 7:45 p.m. and go until about 8:45 p.m. Contest will start around 9 p.m.

SUMMARY:35th Annual Schooner Wharf Bar Wrecker’s Cup Race Series
DESCRIPTION:This is the 4th and FINAL race of the Schooner Wharf Bar Wrecker’s Cup Race. The course is 7 miles from Key West Harbor to Sand Key\, re-enacting the ancient wrecking tradition of Key Wes; a series of ruthless one-way races to the reef to claim the booty. At the race start\, Key West harbor is a magnificent sight\, filled with colorful sails and spinnakers on vessels ranging from 16 feet to 120 feet. \nThe 35th Annual Schooner Wharf Bar Wrecker’s Cup Race Series is set for Sunday\, April 26th\, starting at 1 PM.  \nTrophies and prizes are earned by the top 3 vessels in 7 classes –schooner\, multi-hull\, classic\, monohull 29′ and under\, monohull 30-39 feet\, monohull 40 feet and over new this year is a possible Hobie Cat class!  1st\, 2nd & 3rd place will be awarded in each division\, with trophies\, a Bottle of Pusser’s Rum\, Schooner Wharf Bar Tabs & Wrecker tee shirts as prizes. Awards Ceremony and Party starts at 7 PM on April 26th.  \nCaptains’ Meeting is held on April 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Schooner Wharf’s Sail Loft with complimentary Pusser’s Rum Punch and hors d’oeuvres from the Schooner Wharf Galley. \n“No protests\, no pageantry\, just race with us — Or against us!” \nWreckers’ Race 2020 Release Form and Entry Form
