DESCRIPTION:Trade treasure tales and priceless memories of Key West’s King – Mel Fisher! \nSpend a golden evening at Schooner Wharf Bar\, where Spanish galleons\, treasure hunting ships\, golden discoveries and priceless memories of the man who made it all happen – Mel Fisher – are on tap for this year’s Dockside Party during Mel Fisher Days. \nThe celebration of Key West’s golden dream weaver begins at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday\, September 3rd. Everyone is welcome to come out and commemorate the 400th anniversary of the sinking of the Nuestra Senora de Atocha. Join the reunion of the Golden Crew members\, celebratin Barg finding the “mother lode” 37 years ago! \nJoin us at Mel’s favorite watering hole\, where he “made his mark” when his handprints were cast in a special mold and a section of the bar top is dedicated to his achievements. Meet the Atocha divers and Magruder crew and hear tales of high-seas and high-stakes adventures from current and past salvors and mingle with members of the Fisher family. \nThis year the family will present the “2022 Mel Fisher Lifetime Achievement Award” to Mel’s son\, Kim Fisher! \nNew this year is a Treasured Author Book Signing with 8 authors\, including the debut of Mel’s official biography Today’s the Day!- The Mel Fisher Story\, by Wendy Ticker. The popular X Marks the Spot Cupcake “treasure hunt” for a Shipwreck Coin is back. In addition there are prizes for Key West and Mel Fisher Trivia\,  a Live onstage Auction and a 50/50  raffle.  There is even more booty available with a HUGE online silent auction – more than $20\,000 in merchandise and treasure!
