DESCRIPTION:Enjoy St. Patrick’s Day Thursday\, March 17 on the waterfront at Schooner Wharf Bar.  You’ll have the fun luck o’ the Irish to catch this classic waterfront watering hole\, and that’s no blarney!\n\n\nIn the evening the dynamic Skraeling will entertain from 6:30 p.m – 11 p.m.  Their sound is spirited and new with modern versions of traditional Celtic folksongs\, and fresh takes on rock and country favorites.  The band features the soaring fiddle work of Jamie Snider; Mike Rossiter provides powerful lead vocals and relentless rhythm guitar; and Animal Pearson anchors the combo on drums with his uncompromised attack and traditional Celtic rhythms. Hailing from Toronto\, Canada\, Skraeling is a talented and entertaining combo that keeps its audiences happy and guarantees a good time for all.\n\n\nAnd the jigs not up!  Everyone will extend their “Irish” heritage for the 39th annual St. Paddy’s Day Bar Stroll on Saturday\, March 18\, which just like everything else\, always ends up at Schooner Wharf Bar.\n\n\nMichael McCloud\, “Professor” Pete Peterson and Captain Carl “Guitar” Peachy will start the entertainment early morning original music and biting humor. Then kick up your Irish heels to the spirited sounds of Skaeling fusing catchy originals with traditional Celtic rock folk and fiddle tunes. Headliners for the evening are the popular local group The Doerfels with their contemporary and classic rock\, country\, alternative\, and pop all performed in a unique style that all their own until midnight!\n\n\nCelebrate by wearing green\, getting pinched and sipping Black and Tans\, green beer and schnapps.  Enjoy traditional corned beef and cabbage prepared by the Schooner galley.
