The Race Day Schedule

The race takes place on March 30, 2025, with the Captains’ Meeting held the evening before, at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Sail Loft at Schooner Wharf. Captains will gather to discuss race procedures and enjoy a complimentary Pusser’s Rum Punch. It’s a great time to mingle with fellow sailors and get ready for the big day.

Awards Ceremony & Party

After the race, the Awards Ceremony & Party will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Schooner Wharf Bar. Here, the top three vessels in each of the 6-7 different classes—schooner, multi-hull, classic, monohull 29’ and under, monohull 30-39 feet, monohull 40 feet, and possibly a Hobie Cat class—will be celebrated. Captains and crew will get a chance to relive the excitement of the race as they watch film footage taken by the official race committee boat.

Big Daddy Rich, a crowd favorite, will be playing his signature blend of rock, soul, blues, country, and AM Gold from the 60s and 70s, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of fun and energy. It’s the perfect way to cap off a day of racing on the water.
