Runners and walkers can test their skills and celebrate Ernest Hemingway’s sporting lifestyle Saturday, July 25th and the Beer Mile on July 26th during the Hemingway 5k Sunset Run and Beer Mile. The athletic challenges are part of Hemingway Days!

3:00 pm – 7 pm: Race Registration Booth

Location: Outside Southernmost Beach Cafe, 1405 Duval Street

7:30 pm: Start of 5K Run/Walk

Location: Southernmost Point

8:00 pm – 10 pm The Awards/Beach Party featuring Tastings of Papa’s Pilar Rum, Islamorada Beer and Snacks, raffles and live entertainment!

Location: Outside Southernmost Beach Cafe, 1405 Duval Street
Inside will be extended happy hour and select menu specials till closing for all participants.

12:00 pm Key West Beach N’ Beer Mile! 4 Loops, 4 Beers from Islamorada Beer Co., Custom Shirt. Price: $55. Race is NOT TIMED!

The Beach N’ Beer Mile bib has 4 beer tickets on your bib. This casual and fun beer mile takes place on the beach at the Southernmost Beach Cafe, 1405 Duval Street, event starts at 12 pm. Look for the Key West Half Marathon sail flags and cones! Costumes are encouraged and we will be giving various prizes out for the best costumes.
