Good Day on a Happy Planet

Good Day on a Happy Planet is Key West’s groovy gift shop with jewelry, collectables, musical instruments, and more!

Hammerhead Surf Shop

Hammerhead Surf Shop is Key West, Florida’s premier surf shop and is a local hot spot for trendy top surf apparel brands! The shop sells a wide variety of some of the best brands in sunglasses such as Maui Jim and Costa.

Local Color

Jack Anderson, originally from Tacoma, Washington, and Liliane, from Chartres, France, first opened Local Color in 1986, having recently docked in Key West after an adventure on the family home – a 42 foot sailboat. Always the sailor and leather craftsman, Jack started making leather jewelry and selling at the nightly sunset celebration on Mallory Square. Soon, Local Color opened next door to the historic Turtle Kraals, at the original location of Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville store. Always evolving, the Andersons designed their own clothing lines for the tropics and Key West jewelry collections. Today, you can see all of these influences when you shop at Local Color and Commotion, and there’s always something new! And it is still very much a family affair.

Local Treasure

Local Treasures sells travel coins, sea glass beads, jewelry and other treasures from artists in Key West and from other locals. Some pieces were recovered from the 1980s. Stop by this shop to find a variety of authentic Atocha silver and say hi to Shadow, the giant Husky!

Mac’s Sea Garden

There’s something for everyone at Mac’s Sea Garden, a historic shop in the Historic Seaport. A variety of great gifts, like shirts, hats, and other unique souvenirs can be found at the Key West gem. You’ll also find a selection of home decorations, such as glassware pieces and kitchen essentials that are sure to add a Key West feel to any room in your home! Don’t forget to take a picture with the huge Spongeman right outside! Mac’s Sea Garden is original to the Bight, run by Mack Mchue as a shell Shop and souvenir stand in the early 1900’s.
